Bunnings Warehouse opens new store in Harlow, UK

Australian home improvement and garden retailer Bunnings Warehouse has opened its tenth store in Harlow, UK.

The new store, which is on former Homebase on Edinburgh Way, will offer more than 30,000 home improvement and garden products from several of the global brands.

Other services being offered at the store range from paint mixing to key cutting, a garden centre, timber cutting and in-store DIY workshops.

Bunnings Warehouse Harlow complex manager Joanne Broadhurst said: “All our team members have worked really hard to get the store ready for opening and have undertaken many hours of training to make sure we have the expertise to help customers with home or garden projects.”

In October, the company opened two stores in Essex and Worle in the UK. The Essex store was opened on 10 October and is located on the site of former Homebase, London Road, Vange. The new store is claimed to be 57,000 ft2 in area.

The second store that was opened by Bunnings is located in Worle. This new store was opened on 25 October and is claimed have an area of 76,000 ft2.

In last February, the company acquired Homebase for £340m and come up with plans to invest £500m more in building new warehouses across the UK and Ireland over a five year period.
